Although it is unclear what will become the reality of the AFPA training is always a good idea to have on hand books Reference to recover in memory of math concepts necessary for the formation of engineer surveyor! I do not pretend to offer a comprehensive overview on the subject. Only those I had in my hands, and who have published interesting.
The first, and most recently I had on hand: Savoi r-fa i re e n maths . A book of polytechnic and university presses romandes. Very educational, it contains, arranged by themes, exercises, a review of theoretical concepts relating to these exercises, and finally, a corrected exercises. Equations, geometry, trigonometry, calculus and matrix algebra. The latter is not that often addressed in such work, and the presentation is very clear. Sufficient in all cases to correctly answer test input of the AFPA. Only the statistics and probabilities are not addressed.
The other book, Forms and Tables (tricorn editions) was part of my daily life for much of the time I spent in the laboratory, with Reynolds. More comprehensive as regards the various formulas, the explanations are more concise. Besides the math, it covers physics, chemistry and even astronomy. There was indeed not necessarily the Handbook (reference work in chemistry, extremely thorough, very heavy and really expensive!) On hand! Also, formulas, tables, allowed to have on hand the necessary data for the daily work. It is primarily this book helped a fellow engineer, who helped me in reviews (I had not yet seen the first one!).
I have no interest (including financial, shop at the top right citing only a few euros per year!) To advise these books, so I invite you to consult library and make your opinion. For info, Skills in Maths was seen at 25 € at the Fnac (in store) while around 15 € ... su Amazon

Norman Wildberger does not stop in so good way! Also, here is a new video of him that I have no doubt, will become your favorite Canadian living in Australia! This time, he reveals the secrets of homogeneous coordinates. Meaning not so obvious that we encounter every day yet! Indeed, most of 3D rendering engines (games, 3D applications, etc..) use this method of calculation for the display of the 2D projection of a 3D scene on a screen. This is where it happens (yes, always in English!):

Un générateur d'exercices en ligne !
An application that works either online or locally and generates exercises of math or geometry, and their corrected! It exists and it's called Pyromath ! The installation of the application locally involves the use of MikTeX (the application uses the language to generate LaTeX sheets in pdf form with beautifully written!). I personally prefer the online version. For now, the exercises cover the program generated the 6 th to the 3 rd (for Surveyor herbs then!). So be a test ! Once you have clicked on "create" your browser will suggest you to save a zip archive. The latter contains a form of exercise and a corrected form.
FYI Framasoft tells us that there are other such resources online: ChingAtome , bases Syracuse, Euler . Good reviews!

The results of searches on Google sometimes lead to future candidates for training as a surveyor on these pages. Some contact me for some clarification. This post is therefore to provide some answers and, hopefully, reassure and build confidence for future candidates. Here is 
The results of searches on Google sometimes lead to future candidates for training as a surveyor on these pages. Some contact me for some clarification. This post is therefore to provide some answers and, hopefully, reassure and build confidence for future candidates. Here is -cons the part of review requested by the APMA in 2007 on the math and geometry. MCQ type examination to verify that knowledge. If they make it possible to follow very well the training, all are not absolutely necessary though. However, I invite you to contact the AFPA for updated information.
It is vital cons of being or becoming familiar with the concept of triangles and trigonometry. This point is really important.
People sometimes worry that their training is not scientific or technical. So do not panic! Applicants come from all walks really, they are predominantly literary or more technical, and they are doing very well! The criterion for success is, in my view, provide a regular job. Indeed, if the concepts to be acquired are not overly complex, they are numerous! There are concepts that can not invent, we must learn!
training includes a significant amount of practical work. There are approximately two dozen in the eleven-month internship. It must be remembered that l'évaluation finale (qui conditionne l'obtention du diplôme !), se fait aussi sur la présentation d'une partie de ces travaux (les derniers généralement car ils sont les plus complexes, donc plus intéressant à présenter). Il est donc important de ne pas prendre de retard sur les TP ! Mêmes si la formation dure 11 mois, ça passe vite, aussi, prendre trop de retard, c'est prendre des risques.
A propos de l'informatique. Certains candidats à la formation arrivent en n'ayant pas de notion de l'utilisation d'un ordinateur (c'est de plus en plus rare). C'est clairement ajouter une difficulté. C'est une bonne idée, si on est dans ce cas, que de régler ce point before training. No need to become a kador Word or Excel, but know how to locate a file on the hard disk, ie save a document in one place, knowing how to use the internet is much point, when are acquired, will allow you to concentrate on the essentials.
